Skillful Deviations : All Levels Stretching, Handstand and Conditioning Class
January 14th will be the last San Francisco class!!!
This class is structured so that students can develop their own practice as well as learning the basic techniques of stretching.
It is based on the techniques of Serchmaa Byamba. The focus is: splits, backbends and inversions. With these any other pose becomes more easily available. This class is aimed specifically at increasing flexibility and strength for recreational, fitness or asana goals and the stretches are adapted to every level of flexibility.
Please come with an attitude to go to your limit and the desire to do deep and long stretching. There will be a lot of hands on assists and assisted stretching. To maintain the benefits of assisted stretching it is recommended that you have a regular yoga or stretching practice.
Homework can be given for those interested. Students are expected to arrive early to warm up.
Please wear clean socks and comfortable clothing that fully covers the legs.
Cost: $35/class, limited to 4 students
Sundays 3-5, 5-7. January 14th is the last San Francisco class.
